                     Opening Day Recreational Soccer 2010

Opening Day will be on Sunday, August 29th. Opening Day will be a bit different from previous years.  Families will go to their assigned campus and meet with your coach at the field on your schedule.  There will be approximately one hour of practice, followed by approximately one hour of scrimmage.  During practice there will be a brief informational session for the parents.


U8 through U14 players - bring your soccer balls!

All players wear shin guards, and bring plenty of drinking water

There will be board members (wearing green polo's) there to assist at the field and there will be dry erase boards with the layout of the fields (team locations).

Coaches will hand out uniforms (and U4 & U6 soccer balls) on August 29th.

Soccer socks and shorts will be available for sale.

There will be a table where you can check out the EPS clothing items, and you will be able to place orders.  Clothing order will be delivered to the field within a couple of weeks.



                                                                                                                                                                                                                       
 

                      Special Season Dates


8/29 - Opening Day - refer to your Team Page for schedule (time/location)

9/5 -     No Soccer on Labor Day Weekend

10/3 -   Picture day.

            Last day for U-4,   awards will be handed out following the session.

10/10 - Game Day !

10/31 - Last day U-6,  Round Robin tournament, followed immediately by awards.

             Play - offs start for U-10 boys, U-11 girls and U-14.

11/7 -   Last day U-8,  round robin tournament, followed immediately by awards.

             Play- offs  U-10 boys, U-11 girls and U-14.

11/13 - Championship/3rd place for U-10 boys, U-11 girls and U-14 at DVHS, times to be announced.

11/14 - All- Stars, times to be announced.

   


                            Coaches clinic

Head coaches clinic has been rescheduled to Saturday, August 28th. 4:30 pm at DVHS by the soccer shed, which is by the tennis courts. This is for the U-6, U-8 , U-10 and U-11 head coaches that were not able to make the first clinic.







        Board meetings are held every first Wednesday of the month at the DDES cafeteria at 7pm
